“Initially my tow was delayed, and as someone who was in somewhat of a scary time just because of how young I am and because it’s never happened to me before, I was somewhat upset, but after calling and speaking to the kind lady who answered the phone she informed me of why and it all made sense and I understood then why it was delayed but she helped me out a ton when she got the tow truck to me in much shorter time and we made it to the destination right as they were closing but me leaving the car there overnight was no problem with them and I got to communicate with them the scenario briefly which gave me so much peace of mind. To the guy who towed my car he was such a kind man and it’s not in a “I’m an old lady and he was such a sweet young man and very respectful” type of way, it’s in a “as someone who’s also very real and genuine, I am so thankful to have had a great human being help me in this scary situation” type of way. I thank him a ton as well because he took the time to talk to me and build rapport with me making me feel so much more comfortable and he even knew the people at the tire place which made me feel happy and familiarized with everyone. “My mom was transferred from the hospital for rehab following a broken hip. The staff could not have been more helpful and caring during her stay. The facilities seemed new and very clean. Every day the facility provided activities such as bingo, outside singers, as well as entertainers that came to the room to cheer up the patients and visitors. One such visit was a young lady with a cute dog in a remote controlled car that went from room to room. Thank you Marsha (Activities Director)!! They also have a Care Team that provides a Care meeting with the family on predetermined intervals. The Care Team has representatives from each department responsible for care. The meeting is useful in answering questions, allowing patient feedback, and offering a checkpoint on the progress being made. It was at this meeting that I learned my mom had improved enough that she will be released in just a few days. Overall I would definitely select The Lakes of Clermont again, if my family ever has a need.”
