Jamaican Jerk Hut

Everthing looked good but we decided to get the barbecue chicken dinner with rice and peas, green beans and plantains. We also got chicken patties and a beef patty. Everyone loved their food.

First time trying oxtail and it was good! Watch for bones but the fatty parts were "melty" like butter and the meat was like, "fall off the bones" ribs. Very good! I also tried the Mac n cheese boat with pulled pork and it was exactly what I hoped for. A suggestion from a patron to try to pineapple mango drink was a great accompaniment as well. I do suggest a splash of tabasco on the collard greens and red wine vinegar on the already tasty rice and beans. I plan on returning to try more foods from Dallas (the chef) on another cheat day in the near future.

I have been to this place twice. The 1st time I got the jerk chicken it was the best I've ever had. The 2nd time I bought the oxtail and it was the best oxtail I've ever had. The next time I go back will be the 3rd time and I'm gonna try the curry goat. I'm sure it's going to be the best I've ever had. Looking forward to it, keep up the good work. I'll be back.
