(March 22, 2019, 10:49 pm)Wooten park is a very nice facility along the shore of Lake Dora. Theres a splash pad, a playground, a pavilion right out on the water and many family oriented events are held here. For example, today we visited the annual Sunnyland Antique Boat Show, which is a great opportunity to see beautiful antique boats such as Chris Craft, Garwood, Lyman, Century, etc. We had a very pleasant afternoon strolling through the park admiring these boats, visiting with enthusiasts, checking out the boats for sale, etc. Wooten Park is a great venue for this and other similar events.
(March 21, 2019, 9:38 pm)Large enclosed playground under a canopy of trees for shade and scenery. It's across from the Tavares Train station so it is convenient and nostalgic as well as beautiful and breezy with Lake Dora on the opposite side of it. Plenty of seating for the grown ups too! I took off a star as it does need repainting and some grooming.
(March 20, 2019, 9:11 pm)I went a couple of months ago and the scenery was beautiful. This seems like a great place to have an event: huge concrete area, playground, public bathroom, restaurants, and entry points via train, car, or sea plane. The water park playground is only open seasonally.

(January 25, 2019, 5:10 pm)Little kids love this park, and the bigger kids love chasing them around! Plenty of wooden structures, slides, swings. There's even a splash park (seasonal)! Plenty of shade under huge trees, and plenty of parking. And, plenty of lakefront to watch boats and planes along.
