My visit was to continue treating a sore knee. Dr Schafer is always on top of all possibilities and took extra time to educate me. His treatment is cautious and predictable. and his advice is always accurate. I look forward to the next visit if necessary.
Dr. Schafer has been been taking care of my knee issues for about 5 years. He's always patient, kind and take his time to explain to me in layman's terms what's happening. I highly recommend him and his team!
I've been in severe pain for over 7 months. I usually get this way every winter, but this year was worse. I thought I would wait until after season in FL and , therefore, get an appointment I didn't have to wait 4 months for. My suffering was rewarded and I got in 4 days after calling. My appointment was w/ Dr. S. Schafer. He took out 2 large vials of fluid from each knee and gave me a cortizone shot. I walked out of there w/no pain and today is day 4 and I'm just as happy about my visit. My pain went from a 9 to a 2. What a wonderful result! I'm happy!!
I have met with Dr Schafer twice regarding a torn meniscus. He gives his undivided attention, takes the time to explain imaging results, options moving forward, and does his best to be accommodating with scheduling surgery.
Dr Steve Schafer, is a great Orthopedic physician. Over several years he has repaired a few different knee issues of mine. Now it's time for a knee replacement. I have high confidence in his ability and expertise. Easy to talk to also.
