Will definitely go back to Ray’s again! Great people, price and amazing scenery.

This is the third time we've rented canoes and kayaks at Ray's Canoe Hideaway. Very competitive rates. It's about an hour paddle towards the east and another hour back. Very low key and quiet section of the upper Manatee River. Bring a water bottle, wear a hat/sunglasses and wear shoes that can get wet.

Easy launch with the help of the "new" guy. He didn't mind us calling him Ray. Great way to paddle the Manatee River.

I enjoyed a calm, relaxing, scenic kayak trip on the upper Manatee River, heading towards the Rye Preserve. Saw some nice flora and wildlife, including a small gator. Mark is great. I'd recommend this to anyone.
