I have had two hurting back experiences that caused me to visit Functional Performance. I was completely satisfied with the therapy I received. Very precise and professional experience. I would highly recommend Adam and Chelsea to everyone, who has any physical therapy needs.
I first worked with Functional Performance in 2018 after I had a total shoulder replacement. The skilled care I received allowed me to regain full use of my arm and shoulder. This year when I needed therapy for my knee, I once again choose Functional Performance. With their help I made amazing progress. I thought I was headed for a knee replacement. Instead I don’t even need a knee brace anymore! I’m now working with them on long-term chronic back issues. My pain isn’t completely eliminated, but I’m seeing progress.
What sets Functional Performance apart from most physical therapy practices is working one to one with a licensed physical therapist. In other practices I’ve gone to, after the PT sees you and does an evaluation, you’re relegated to a PTA who’s working with 2 or 3 other clients at the same time. Not here.
My experience at Functional Performance has been far superior to any other physical therapy practices I’ve used. I would highly recommend Functional Performance for anyone's physical therapy needs.
Adam Cecil worked with me several tmes. He helped me to get rid of drop foot and hip bursitis. He was knowledgeable and professional. If needed i would definitely use him again.
Adam came to our house once a week for about six weeks and provided therapy on my husbands shoulders. He had completely torn the tenons off right arm and had only one remaining on left. Dr. Collins recommended we try therapy with Adam prior to surgery. Range of motion improved and surgery was avoided. Adam was very professional and considerate and we were grateful for the results we had from this experience.
When I was having sciatic pain, a friend of mine referred me to Dr Adam Cecil. I've never been a fan of PT but thought why not give it a try. Adam was a pleasant surprise! He spent the entire hour working on just me. His hands on approach is a bonus. He's forever impressing me with his knowledge. I would never go to anyone else for PT! I feel like my husband (who also was a patient of Adam's) and I both benefited tremendously from Adam's care and we also gained a friend.
