“Aside from the baked goods being amazing, the owners are great people. We came for a weeks vacation and I was here 4 of our days. The food drew me back, but the owners/Pastry Chefs had so many recommendations on what to do and eat. They were spot on for every suggestion. I will always support local with people like this. “In 35 years of marriage and thousands of miles of travel, my wife and I don’t remember a more relaxing month than the one we experienced at Buttonwood. Edie, the property manager, was beyond helpful and friendly. The facilities were well kept and extremely clean. My wife and I agreed that the bathhouse was always spotless...and that says a lot. We both love to fish, so the fish cleaning station was an added bonus! We were actually saddened to leave, and wanted everyone to know how much we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon! “Our experience started off great with Owen greeting us and bringing us to our seats. We had a very minor issue with our table and he very kindly moved us to a new table. Jenny our server was a-may-zing! She made sure my kids ate before she gave them more to drink and was very talkative and happy! We really enjoyed ourselves and the food was out of this world!”
