“Great location! We love how the store is very welcoming and the staff is so friendly. They have a great selection of paddle boards available for every paddling level AND their waterfront launch is only a block away! We can get beginner lessons and a full guided tour all at the same time, including photos. This place is a must visit when you are in this area!”

“Stopped in for a special visit for open mic on Wednesday night. The rain put a damper on patrons visiting as well as having to do it indoors. There were a few guitar singers which was nice to sit back and relax to hear play and sing. I enjoyed a 300 year old Mexican recipe Mimosa which was very tasty with or without fruit. Will visit again on a non rainy night to hear some more live music. I did not order food but others were saying how delicious the plates were and the smell was very tempting. Adorable and quaint little saloon. Attentive owner and servestaff.”

“The food here is delicious flavor, authentic BBQ, we are on our honeymoon and staying in ana Marie Island. Over priced with very little flavor restaurants. Drive over the bridge and enjoy good quality food. Fried pickles are the best we ever had. Bucket of bones with fried mac n cheese melts in your mouth. Waitress Susie is very attentive and good personality.”

“We had an absolutely wonderful time on our private evening sunset and dolphin tour! We really wanted to see dolphins, and Captain Mike Morgan knew exactly where to go! He also took us on a great tour of the area, including the bird sanctuary, a small beach where we got out to look for sand dollars, and made sure we had the most amazing view of the sunset! His knowledge of the area and sea life, combined with a beautiful boat, music, and super laid back atmosphere made such an enjoyable night! We’ll be back next year!”

“Captain Donnie was amazing! He was very kind, knowledgeable and so helpful. And the boat is absolutely gorgeous!! He took us to an abandoned island where we were able to explore on our own, a sandbar and then a ride around the island. We had dolphins following behind us playing and jumping. Highly recommend!”

“If you're debating on what company to pick for your adventure, choose this one. This was great. The all female staff made something I really didn't want to do extremely enjoyable. I'm not a fan of boats, nor am I a fan of heights, but my daughter wanted to give it a try so I had no choice other than to put on a brave face. I felt completely safe, and they were so personable and amazing. The thing I loved most, was the story the captain told about how she ended up here. For my 13 year old daughter to hear such an inspirational story first hand was really priceless.”

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Another fun and amazing trip with Rob at Gulf Island Adventures. We saw Manatees, dolphins and we went to Greer Island/Beer Can Island. The most breathtaking adventure ever. This was our 4th trip and it will not be the last. Each time you see so many different sceneries. I would recommend anyone coming to AMI to definitely reserve a spot with Rob. Thanks for the fabulous time!”

“My husband, daughter, and I stayed at Holiday Cove RV Resort for 2 weeks. We had an amazing experience there! The place is absolutely beautiful and charming. It is a great location and easy to get to Ana Maria Island so quickly. The best part about this place is the people there! Gary was extremely kind and helpful with getting us checked in. The folks that work there day to day are beyond helpful and accommodating. By the end of the trip, I felt like we were saying goodbye to family. My daughter loved George (he brought our dog treats and my daughter fresh donuts and bread). We will definitely be back there again!”

“I've driven by Tyler's a few times when leaving the beach and after spending the day at Cortez Beach, decided to finally stop and check it out. What a fun, relaxed, beachy local ice cream shop! Service was so friendly, fun and kind! Lots of flavors to choose from! All the kids approved of the ice cream and waffle cones! It was a stop well worth it and one we will make again and again! Check it out!!”

“Excellent experience! Quality material and workmanship. So easy to deal with. She did my boat cover and then my dad. What I loved is she reinforce the rub areas of the cover so the cover doesn't get holes prematurely.”

We got to wade and snorkel a bit on the sandbar and got to see some cool sea creatures! Captain Kathe and her daughter Captain Katie were great fun! Down to earth, real, honest people that gave us a great time! 2 hours felt like 2 minutes! Definitely will be back!”

“My wife and I took our five year old grandson to Pirate Adventures of Cortez this past Wednesday and it was a great one hour and 45 minutes. From the time we left the dock to the end it was a very enjoyable time. The three young men who own and run the ship were very attentive, professional and my grandson could not stop talking about the event. There were some nice surprises which I will not tell about because I don't want to ruin your adventure. The total cost for the three of us was $101. and well worth the money. Again the three young men put on a nice adventure.”
