Triangle Ranch, LLC

We rented the small "River Cabin" on the property for a hot weekend in August & enjoyed our time together in the natural surroundings of the ranch, trees, and the Myakka River scenery. The small "accommodations-compound" area was amazingly well appointed, well-kept, and super quiet. We grilled in the "Green Egg" charcoal grill, always had plenty of ice for our drinks (full ice machine), played corn hole, made a fire in the firepit, explored the grounds, showered in the outdoor rain showers, watched the cows, and more. Lovely place! (Would be difficult for anyone with walking issues, though).

Difficult if elderly for bathroom during night....facilities a long distance across street... everything else was simply beautiful

2-day stay in December 2021, has been such an immersive experience for myself and my 3-yo old boy. The moment you enter this working ranch, you are truly disconnected from the rest of the busy world. Everything is picturesque, pristine, and tranquil.

Activity-wise, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking, grilling, biking etc. The bathroom, kitchen fittings and amenities are of high-end quality. Everything was nicely cleaned, organized, and well stocked, even down to bug spray, hydrocortisone spray etc. Things were available to us when and where we needed.

Our Host LeAnne greeted us at the entrance and guided us to our beautiful River Cottage. She also gave us a rundown of facilities, amenities, and house rules. This place does not appear to be a source of income for the ranch. It has so much thought and natural beauty into it. So, please do not treat this like a hotel, pick up after yourself and leave no trash on the grounds.

Few points to consider:
• We preferred and got luck with the River Cottage vs the Prairie Cottage.
• There is a beautiful 2bed 2bath house on the property as well.
• What we found is that the cottage is just for sleeping at night - the kitchen, bathrooms [Cantina] etc. are about few hundred feet from the cabin. This was not an issue for us boys staying in the cabin.
• Walks back and forth between the Cantina and cottages in dark can be an issue for some.
• Sit down dining space is ample around Cantina as well as the Tiki hut by the river; however, beware of mosquitos.
We will definitely return for more.

Spent a weekend at the Triangle. Was a fantastic time. Mountain biked, fished, cookout in the Tiki. Could not have been better. The McKendree's are awesome people! Loved the cattle and the wildlife. Jason took us on a sweet swamp buggy ride. Highly, Highly recommend!
