“We have booked with Myakka Trail Rides a few years in a row now for my daughters yearly birthday present. The horses are healthy, the ride is enjoyable, and we always have a good time. More so than anything, and the reason we will keep coming back is because of Dasha and her incredible customer service. She has been a pleasure communicating with, and truly makes this such an easy process.”

Sandy Baptist Church Myakka City, Florida

Address: 41600 Clay Gully Rd, Myakka City, FL 34251, USA

Church

“This little country church chapel is as charming as they get. The surrounding area is peaceful with country roads, wide open spaces and cows. It's the people that will draw you in though and make you feel like you are at home. Pastor Mark Albritton preaches the word of God and leads this church to be the light of Jesus in a sometimes dark world. They are all family there so be prepared to sing loud, make connections, and fill your belly with a yummy pot luck every Sunday. I visited in June of 2021 just to check them out and haven't missed a Sunday since then. May God bless you in your search for a new church home and lead you where you need to be. ~Tracey”

“2-day stay in December 2021, has been such an immersive experience for myself and my 3-yo old boy. The moment you enter this working ranch, you are truly disconnected from the rest of the busy world. Everything is picturesque, pristine, and tranquil. Activity-wise, we enjoyed fishing, kayaking, grilling, biking etc. The bathroom, kitchen fittings and amenities are of high-end quality. Everything was nicely cleaned, organized, and well stocked, even down to bug spray, hydrocortisone spray etc. Things were available to us when and where we needed. Our Host LeAnne greeted us at the entrance and guided us to our beautiful River Cottage. She also gave us a rundown of facilities, amenities, and house rules. This place does not appear to be a source of income for the ranch. It has so much thought and natural beauty into it. So, please do not treat this like a hotel, pick up after yourself and leave no trash on the grounds. Few points to consider: • We preferred and got luck with the River Cottage vs the Prairie Cottage. • There is a beautiful 2bed 2bath house on the property as well. • What we found is that the cottage is just for sleeping at night - the kitchen, bathrooms [Cantina] etc. are about few hundred feet from the cabin. This was not an issue for us boys staying in the cabin. • Walks back and forth between the Cantina and cottages in dark can be an issue for some. • Sit down dining space is ample around Cantina as well as the Tiki hut by the river; however, beware of mosquitos. We will definitely return for more.”
