My wife and I have been coming here for years. Every time we come we are impressed with the quality of the food and service. Pepi, our waitress, as well as the owner are friendly and work hard to ensure you have a great meal.
I started bringing fresh fish that I personally caught and had it Thai Fried. It’s absolutely so incredible that I wanted to share my experience, so I attached photos of my last two visits.
Had an amazing experience Thursday here. The staff was exceptionally attentive and the food was amazing. I ordered the grouper nuggets with cheesy grits and cucumber salad. Portions were large and made to perfection. Husband had the shrimp and grits and said it was very tasty. He never seen the shrimp not fried for this menu item and was pleasantly surprised with their pan seared shrimp and said it was the best he has had.
Visited the Clam House for the first time to try something new in the area. It’s a bit of a tucked away place off any main streets, but it seems pretty well known by the locals. The place itself is cute with a lot of beachy decor. The outside seating was also nice, with a covered patio and fans blowing for a breeze. Our waitress was also friendly and attentive. In terms of food, we ordered a sushi roll as an appetizer and it was fresh and delicious. We also ordered coconut shrimp, scallops and hush puppies. The shrimp was fried crispy and flavorful, while the scallops were grilled nicely. Hush puppies were decent. Portion sizes were fair, but not overly generous. Our only gripe (reason for 4 stars) was a hair that we found in the tartar sauce - pretty unappealing. Other than that, this was a good place for dinner and we’re glad we tried it out.
Visited this GEM after passing by for 5 years without stopping in.. That was a HUGE mistake!! I am just completely blown away by the service, Maria was outstanding, friendly and helpful, then the food came out… We had sushi to start and if you are looking for fresh, delicious, may I say, best in the area sushi you cannot go wrong here. These monster rolls filled us up but we had to try the fish tacos and catch of the day platter. Just wow, is all we kept telling each other as we ate on. Best fish tacos we’ve had since moving here, manager stepped out to tell us the fish comes off the boat directly to him every day and let me tell you it shows. I was craving “fish n chips” which isn’t exactly on the menu but just order the catch of the day fried and you won’t be disappointed. Grouper for me with thick fries and hush puppies. Nothing was greasy cooked and flavored to perfection. Did I mention Maria? That girl was amazing, smile on her face and so happy to be helping us out. We loved her! Don’t wait people this place is going to be our new favorite. Kudos!
Excellent mix of sushi with some options similar to a Thai meal.
The setting is like a beach bar, with two divisions, in the front it is more of a bar and a more relaxed and noisy atmosphere and in the back it is more familiar, although there is also a bar.
The food is very rich with good varieties of fish cuts, and some really great innovative ideas including fried dough and sweet chili, always with a very careful presentation of the dish.
The service is very cordial and the owner of the restaurant is usually involved in serving customers.
Ideal to go with family or friends with a relaxed mood
