(October 16, 2022, 4:06 pm)This restaurant has been renovated, redesigned, and renamed since we last visited. The deck is less spacious for dining as it now has a large bar area and TV for sports fans. They have retractable awnings if you sit facing to marina that makes it very pleasant.
The food was much as it was before. I can’t say it is delicious but it is good. Really, I think you are paying for the location/view.
I got the Cobb salad with blackened chicken. It was good. I thought the chicken was delicious and will probably buy that entree next time we come. The salad comes with blue cheese and I didn’t think the flavors went together. If I ordered it again I would probably get ranch.
We also purchased the Cuban which came on grilled “panini” bread. It was okay. A little dry. It definitely didn’t taste like a “Cuban sandwich” though by strictest ingredient listing I guess if fits the category. The French fries were good.
Overall, if you want to pay more for location and okay food this place works. We will be back the next time we want a meal on the docks.
(September 10, 2022, 8:19 pm)I had the pleasure of visiting Mila's for dinner with a friend recently. The location on a dock by the River is a huge draw for this place. But is the food and service good? Hell yes! Let's start with our server Brooke. She went above and beyond even helping us choose our meal. We never had to wait for anything. I ordered the Mahi sandwich and wasn't disappointed. My friend similarly enjoyed the Shephards pie. We split and order of tasty onion rings. Our Dessert order was the strawberry shortcake, which was very good but didn't come with ice cream. Great view, service and food means I definitely recommend. Add the ice cream and this would be a 5 star review!
(March 19, 2022, 8:34 pm)Seated quickly, not excessively busy even for a Saturday. Good table service with helpful waitstaff. Cocktails were delicious, and we had the ribs, Cuban sandwich, and taco salad. All was exceptional but taco salad was sort of bland and Cuban served on regular toasted bread and not cuban (or even french) bread (???), hence the loss of one star. Amazing views, always breezy, would definitely come again, but more for the views than necessarily amazing food quality or variety.
