“Fantastic Experience. We started our journey this morning in lake county, and didn't have the best experience. The staff in lake county were not pleasant at all. I got back home and started looking around on line more, finally landed on Marion County's page and they had a pretty "nice selection" of dogs. Initially I was looking for an older dog, but when i got to the shelter i came across a 3 month old lab. I wasn't sure that was the route i wanted to go 100% yet so i kept looking at all the other dogs. Finally decided it was time to at least take a peak at her outside of the kennel. Immediately fell in love with her, and adopted her. The staff at Marion county Animal Center are amazing. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. If one of them isn't sure exactly about the dog, they will find someone that knows more. I highly recommend this Place, and will absolutely return another time. They care about the animals and take very good care of them from what I can tell. Thank you Marion County for running such a fantastic Facility, with great staff.”
