Mary is one of the kindest people I have ever met! My son has autism and loves music, Mary's method of teaching and her caring ways have helped my son blossom. She has introduced him to so many instruments and has encouraged him to sing, which he now loves. I highly recommend Mary, we think she is wonderful!
A very high recommendation is appropriate for Mary. She has been given a very unique set of gifts and talents to offer to her students. Her level of expertise in music and related fields gives her an edge in teaching. She is very committed to helping others improve their techniques at a variety of levels. The manner in which Mary patiently imparts information is very nurturing. Mary actively pursues cutting edge technology in all of the fields which she instructs and I have personally benefited immensely from her teaching.
Ms. Mary is an absolutely incredible teacher. I went into lessons with little to no technique and came out about two years later feeling infinitely more secure and happy with my playing. She is kind, understanding, inspiring, and balances perfectly between allowing her student expressive freedom and giving her student constructive advice to better themselves as a musician. She just understands how to help the student to the best of their ability; she earned the nickname "second mom" in my house. Miss her indefinitely, owe her so much, and recommend her wholeheartedly.
I've worked with and known Mary for over 15 years. I've seen first hand how effective a teacher she is and why she has been in demand for over 30 years. She has an uncanny ability to help her students learn and improve at every lesson, as well as keep the momentum going long term. She has a unique combination of skills and abilities which help her guide her students to reach their goals. Most importantly, she is genuinely loved by every student who is fortunate enough to have her as their teacher. I highly recommend Mary to anyone who truly wants a very caring, knowledgeable and experienced teacher.
