Due to an apparent administrative error, my client's blood sample was sent to an out of network lab resulting in a very high bill-not covered by her insurance.($2,600 rather than approximately $400 in network). When contacted, the Dr. was quickly responsive-and took steps to ensure that his patient did not have to bear the financial brunt of the error.
