(October 5, 2020, 9:04 pm)So, I know we go to the bad reviews first. The only thing I can suggest is this: go there and see by yourself. This is one of my favorite places in the area, and despite some people bad experiences might be, I have to say sincerely that the food is excellent, the service is really good and the waitresses are very friendly. Don’t let anyone make you desist from going to Sandbar and have a good time there.

(March 14, 2020, 3:34 pm)Unexpected excellence! Appearances can be deceiving. From the outside this place looks like a dive bar. The menu seems too large to pull off successfully. But our family of four with 2 kids aged 10 and 12 were pleasantly surprised! We ordered the caprese salad and it was more delicious than the supposedly authentic Italian place we tried 2 doors down. We had the truffle fries and there are none left! Finger licking good! Really surprisingly fresh ingredients in a welcoming atmosphere. Thank you sandbar for reminding us never to judge a book by its cover. We are glad we visited!
(January 30, 2020, 7:56 pm)Such a great place! A fun and relaxed bar with nice people and the food was surprisingly delicious (for a bar I didn’t even know had a full menu!) Best wings ever and the Mahi Reuben really lets the fish stand out and that’s a good thing! The Gorgonzola burger is to die for if you love Gorgonzola. All the staff was attentive and friendly but Alexandra stood out to me as she takes great care in making the cocktails and it shows: they are beautiful and taste great. Cheryl, the hostess, is sweet, smart and fun. Go on a Wednesday for Salsa music and dancing with Melina, a wonderful singer. Great local vibe and great value/inexpensive. Also a good draft beer list. Loved it!
