Great baseball feilds and an even better community tennis courts with trading and open concession stand
There's a lot that can be said about this recreation center. First, if you're looking for competition, then Claude Pepper Park is the place to go. The park has optimist football, basketball programs, cheerleading programs, baseball etc. People such as LeBron James, Hassan Whiteside, Bronny Jr, DWade all have played in these courts. Also, there's a wrap around sidewalk that people walk on.
Good place to walk. If you walk around the outside of the park 1 full time around is about a mile and a half.
Great place to get in shape. Check out Max and Paule classes while you're there.
I chose to walk around the perimeter of the park with a friend. The perimeter is reported to be 3.3 miles. We went around the park three times. We were not alone. There were many people walking around the park on the sidewalk at around 630 am until the sun begins to come out and it gets too hot. Because of the number of individuals walking with you, you are not alone which provides some degree of safety. Everyone is respectful of each other's space and all are noted to wear masks.
