“If you're looking for professional, fun, and safe dives with small groups, look no further! My husband and I travel all over the world to go diving. There are two things we look for when we are researching a new place. Small group dive charters and dive guides who are friendly, knowledgeable, and safe. Blue Water Divers fit this description, so we decided to book. We booked two dives through Blue Water Divers on two different days. It ended up being two different boats, two different guides, and two completely different groups of people. Both were fantastic! They took suggestions for some dive sites and adjusted to the groups preferences. The captains were so friendly and kept us on time despite some late departures. This has been one of the best dive charter experiences we have had! I know, there are a lot of charters on Key Largo, but if you book Blue Water Divers, you will not be disappointed!”

“We had the BEST time ever! I researched a ton before choosing Nautical Quest and I’m so glad I did. Our day with Captain Spurgeon was perfect! I knew my kids would do best with a charter that had multiple activities. This was exactly what we needed. I felt like we got 5 days worth of activities! We went fishing, snorkeling, sightseeing, paddle boarding, had lunch, played at the sand bar. The best part was that we went to all these amazing locations, but stayed away from the crowds. Our friends had picked a different charter and all of their pictures are crowded with a ton of people and other boats in the background. Captain Spurgeon took us to our own secluded areas of paradise! Clear turquoise water without another person in sight! We are experienced boaters, but wanted a relaxing day to kick back and let someone else do the driving. The seas were a bit choppy but Captain Spurgeon is a great driver and provided us with a smooth ride. Thank you so much for helping our family make some lifelong memories!”

“I had been out of diving for almost 4 years. After taking a quick refresher course, I did 4 dives with Horizon Divers over two days. Being 65 and out of diving for 4 years, I was nervous. The folks at Horizon Divers did everything possible to make me feel welcome and took their time to help me. My dive guide, Hugh, took particular interest in helping me figure out the right amount of weight. He made my dives much less stressful and more enjoyable. After the 1st two dives, I was again very relaxed and had a wonderful time. I couldn't ask for anything else from Horizon Divers, the boat crew and Hugh. I recommend Horizon Divers to anyone looking for a great dive shop and crew. I look forward to diving with them again.”

“This was one of the best places I've been to since trying dining in the Florida Keys. I'm visiting from out of town and choose this place based on the options on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were made to perfection, and the desserts are to die for. The service provided was second to none that I've been able to experience. Very attentive, always ensuring the table was taken care of. The atmosphere was amazing. My party sat outside right near the water and everything was so serene. I would recommend The Buzzard's Roost to everyone that's in the area and some! Thank you for everything! I will be coming back on a future trip to the area!”

“Great place to eat right as you get to Key Largo. The coconut shrimp is fantastic. I was surprised at how good the coconut onion rings were. Pleasantly slightly sweet with a crunchy breading. The mahi sticks were succulent. My son got the twisted Cuban sandwich and was excellent. The locals were great to visit with. If you come to the keys this is a great first stop.”

“So fortunate we found Cap'n Larry for a customized, personal boat tour of water ways near Key Largo -- including the Everglades. He was VERY communicative with us as we planned our trip from San Diego area as well as during our trip when weather and other conditions required some flexibility of the day we met up with him. He made recommendations and remained as flexible as he was able. Three of us were provided a personalized 3.5 hr tour on a very comfortable pontoon boat. He was eager to share sightings of manatees in his canal, knows local history and guiding very well, planned the trip to allow for pit stops if we needed, and customized the trip so we could go under a mangrove tunnel -- something our 88 year old friend had never gotten to experience. “What a delightful Key Largo gem of a dive operator! We've spent the last couple of winters down in Florida, renting a house on the canal. When we first came down, we had bad experiences with the local large tour boat operators. Splashing around with 30 other divers, and a crew on a timetable to get back in time for their afternoon run, is not an ideal way to see the beauty of the north Key reefs. Then we gave Lucky Fish a try, and have never looked back. Glenn and Jill (along with their excellent dive guides) provide a custom small-boat experience that is relaxing, pleasant, and personalized.”
