Out There Kayak Expeditions

Wasn’t sure what to expect but the kayak experience took us 45 mins out on the bayside by pontoon. Our group was dropped off at a location where we could kayak along the edge of the mangroves at our own pace for 90 mins and then we were picked up. It was a nice experience. Beautiful scenery. Some wildlife spotted. Captain KC is kind but a man of few words and that was fine for us. We had a nice time… would recommend the kayak experience if you’re in Key Largo for the day.

It was very windy so KC took us into the everglade park where we could kayak amongst the mangrove shores. Very shallow waters so we didn't see much life but did observe a flock of flamingos. Fortunately we had seen crock, manatees and sharks earlier in the week. It was a delight to be far away from everything else. Just the family paddling around in shallow waters for 90 mins. Other then occasionally seeing KC in the boat there was not another soul around for miles. Perfect! Great day and KC is responsive and a pleasure to spend an afternoon with. Highly recommend this trip if you want to get away.

We had a great time kayaking today! Captain KC made sure we had exciting we needed to have a successful kayak trip and even took some time to coach my wife on how to maneuver the kayak in the water since this was her first time out in a single kayak. We saw manatees, shark, tons of fish and even some jellyfish. We will be booking another trip with Out There Kayak Expeditions very soon.

We had a really great time having our Kayaktour with KC, the boat ride was amazing and a nice introduction to the final place where our kayaktour started. We saw many different kind of fish, birds, turtles, baby sharks and even a stringray on our way back to the marina. We highly recommend this tour because you will be going to an area with no boat traffic, you will enjoy the silence and beauty of nature.
