Really enjoyed our experience here.
It was a little confusing on arrival (it’s nestled between two buildings and a little hard to find, and then the restaurant has two menus, one for the dreamy outside seating and a fancy one for the indoor space. This was explained to us but took a few minutes to figure out where we wanted to sit. We chose outdoor for sunset and it was lovely. The food was tasty and the service was kind and friendly.
The location is to die for, we enjoyed the view so much and the live music as well.
This is a restaurant that we will be sure to return to anytime we head through Key Largo. Such amazing views of the water and boats. We were here around 4:00 and the sun was reflecting beautifully on the water. The food was fantastic as well. We tried the fish and chips, cheeseburger, noodles with butter sauce and I had the Bahama Fish Sandwich. Everything tasted great, the service was on point as well. I also recommend the Orange Blossom beer.
Absolutely amazing! I have never even been a fan of scallops, lobster or Mahi. However, being on the coast, I decided to try the sampler. I'm so glad I did! The flavor was wonderful. Buttery and soft, flaky fish. The service and view were also exceptional. When we visit Key Largo again we will stop by here!
Oh and the bacon wrapped jumbo shrimp are to die for!
The upstairs restaurant was nice and had good views, where we got an good crab and lobster dip.
But downstairs we really enjoyed some cheap drinks during happy hour that were accompanied by the most incredible sunset and views over the water. Really pleasant way to end the day.
We were searching for a place to have an appetizer and a drink with a good view of the sunset and this place not only met but exceeded our expectations. It's a beautiful spot with awesome views of the sunset. The serving staff are attentive but not obtrusive and super laid back and friendly. The bartender, Kim, was gracious and personable and the young man who was tending tables was also top notch. The happy hour from 4-7 is extremely generous given the location and there was quality and free live music.
If you're looking for a place to wind down and relax, this place oozes the relaxed Keys vibe you're looking for. It's not the fanciest, but it's authentic and we'll take that any day over the pretentiousness of the fancier nearby spot. It will hold a special place in the memory of our trip. Thank you for having us as your guests!
