Dolphins Plus Bayside

This place was so cool. First time swimming with dolphins and it was a great experience. Only downside was, for the price, it didn't seem like long enough. We got it, pet them twice, did two pushes on our feet and then it was over. We thought by the website there would be belly rubs and such but we didn't get to do that. The staff was 10/10 though and we got to hangout for a bit after and just watch the dolphins

Such an amazing experience! Signature swim gets you in the water with the dolphins for an up close experience! The time goes by fast, but you’re out there for close to an hour. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The photos below were taken by me in the “spectator” section, but their photo package option gets you individual pics with the dolphins, which is worth it!

This is a once in a life time experience. The family was visiting the keys and of course the kids wanted to see dolphins! This is the place to be, we got to get close to the dolphins in a very educational and safe way. It was amazing getting to feel a dolphin and hear the noises up close in personal. 10/10 would recommend for anyone. The staff was also terrific making the experience even more top notch.

My family and I were visiting Key largo during summer break and we booked this place online in advance; seems like they get full quickly.
-When you arrive, check in by the gift shop and expect to sit and listen to an educational session about the dolphins anatomy and safety precautions, and Q&A. Approx 15-20min.
-Our trainer, named (G) was very professional and friendly. She instructed us step by step of what to do and not to do. She was patient and friendly with us.
-The place was clean and very organized. Also online they offered a picture package that you can buy in advance, you can also buy it after. Since you’ll be in water with the dolphins, you can’t take your own pictures. But they have someone that is taking pictures during your interaction with the dolphin and they will email it within 72 hours. It’s been 48 hours we haven’t received ours yet, So I’ll update this review regarding the status of those pictures. Overall my family had a blast and it was truly a great experience!!
-We did the shallow water interaction. Next time we will try the swimming with the dolphins in the deeper water when my son is comfortable enough to swim.
For sure will be back again. It’s memories that will live on.

This was a truly inspiring experience! You are able to enter the dolphin's world, in a beautiful natural setting. The trainers are knowledgeable, and professional. They elevated our encounter because to them, this is not just a job, it's their passion. Incredibly, something as small as a scrunchie or a watch can scare the Dolphins so do not bring these or similar items with you into the water. Even if you are a professional photographer, is worth purchasing the photo package. They offer numerous beautiful photos, which will allow you to take video, and be in the moment. Will post one photo taken by Dolphin Plus photographer, to show how much better their angle is to capture faces, and three from my camera to show how close spectators are to the participants. The group before us had a severely challenged person who was wheelchair-bound, and they were able to accommodate for that person to have an experience. The trainer informed us that one particular dolphin, Leo, is not intimidated by prosthetics, or wheelchairs, and will go right up to the participant. If you are excited about doing the dolphin swim, or shallow water encounter, this is a great place. This was a bucket list experience!
