“Great little church. Felt like a family place. I grew up in Jacksonville, Avondale, but have lived in Minnesota for almost 40 years now. So how did this transplant find a church out in Callahan. Well, my sister and brother in law live out there and we go to Lighthouse Baptist every year when we come to Florida for a visit. It's starting to feel like a second home for us. The people are so friendly. Mostly young families. The pastor is a very intelligent and talented man. His messages are simple, but so is the gospel.The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Best of all, the guy running the PowerPoint slides keeps up with the music. 🥴”

“We enjoyed our visit. There was a little confusion with the hostess as to where to sit us, but it was worked out quickly. We believe she was kind of new at this position. We had a great waiter. I wish I could remember his name. It was busy and loud in the restaurant so it made it a little hard to hear everything clearly. Portions...make sure you go when you are starving because they bring you enough for two people to eat! My husband and I couldn't finish our suppers due to the ginormous amount of food we were served! I got the fried shrimp and it was great! My husband got the broiled chicken. The garlic mashed potatoes were amazing and the cole slaw was good as well. We both ordered those. All of the wait staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and that made for a more pleasurable dining experience in top of the amazing food! Thanks for the fun and laughter! We will definitely come back!”

John was very assertive initially, answered my call immediately, quoted us and gave us an accurate time frame for completion. we replaced all flooring interior, interior and ceiling painting, baseboard upgrade, kitchen remodel / addition, adding an island, Install hood vent plus so much more. This was a decent size job. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the attention to detail, which was very important to me. Hollis and Anthony cleaned up the workspace daily. We are grateful we found Scholfield's Home Improvements! We just LOVE our interior remodel especially our kitchen. it was truly everything we envisioned and more!!
