“I stayed at the Dolphin resort for a conference. My employer paid for the room. The Dolphin is a beautiful hotel overall, especially the lobby. Every employee I met was unfailingly polite, friendly, and helpful. It was truly a Disney experience service wise. There were some flaws here in there, which if I were paying for the room myself, would have annoyed me. My room was surprisingly small and the windows overlooked machinery and buildings. To be fair, I was attending a conference, and I'm sure that there are smaller, shabby your rooms that are reserved for conferences. I know that they get a lower negotiated rate than the regular rooms, but the experience left me a little cold. The room had two double beds. I honestly can't remember the last time I went to a hotel that had double beds. Even the pillows were hanging off the sides because the pillows were queen-sized. Then again, if the beds were queen-sized, the room would have been even smaller. I also saw noticeable marks on the elevator doors, some very worn and tattered carpets on the first floor where the guest rooms were, and the tap water tasted simply awful. All that said, the towels were very nice, the restaurants served delicious food although it was quite expensive (that's my company's problem, not mine), and there were lots of paved walkways to take long walks. I'd like to say that I would go there again, but only if someone else paid. I will not likely to ever have enough money to stay there.”

“Not a hotel guest. We used the Club Dolphin childcare service, which was excellent, and essentially the only childcare option in Disney World. The hotel and property are beautiful. There was a corporate leadership event taking place so the lobby was crowded and it looks like one of the pools was closed. Walked by three restaurants. The staff we interacted with were helpful and we'd consider staying at the Dolphin in the future.”

“What can I say, everyone knows the Mickey Dee's food. Could it be healthier? Yes. Could it be more upscale? Yes. Do I want to eat EVERY meal there? No. But it's always tasty, always just what you expect fast food to be, definitely reasonably priced, and definitely quicker than a restaurant also selling a unique experience in dining. And quite honestly, when you've just spent the day in the theme park with picky kids, who'd rather eat fast food, then a relaxing meal, at a more upscale type restaurant chain that's geared more to adult tastes anyway, it's the absolute BEST. I don't care that there's no Tube Tower Play area, or Ball Pit. (those are disgusting anyway) Kids don't want to try anything "new" they want a simple cheeseburger with fries, or a happy meal, not a giant dry turkey leg carried around the park for the hour it'll take for them to finish that thing.”

“One of the best of the Villas (Vacation Club timeshares rented to non-members). The two bedroom villas have three bathrooms, making them ideal for large families. Big selling point - you can walk to the Magic Kingdom. Bus or monorail to other parks. While expensive, you can save a lot by buying groceries and cooking some meals. Disney food prices are notoriously high. Great pool area and lots of games for the kids. Book early, these go fast once they open up.”

“Rustic atmosphere. Lowest cost of Disney buffet style restaurants at $35 a head for dinner. The food reflects this. Fried chicken was dry, peel and eat shrimp were small, and ribs were poor quality. Salmon was good, and so was the brisket. Food is decent but is not at the level of other buffet options offered by Disney. Also it is out of the way and difficult to get to if your hot staying at Fort Wilderness.”

“We booked the Ultimate Star Wars Day with VIP Tour Services. I am ruined for life. This was by far one of the best Disney experiences we've have had at Disney. The team: Emily, Rosalind, Kimberly. Jules, Tarl, Ashton, and Rob were amazing. They took care of us by keeping us hydrated throughout the day. One of the best things is that during the parade they gave us frozen towels to cool us off. This alone was worth the the tour price. The itinerary was great. A special character greeting, a trip to Darth's Mall before the park opened, a buffet breakfast, fast pass access to the top rides (Loved this as we have never been able to get into Toy Story Midway Mania!), a roped off area for the parade with snacks and drinks, table service lunch, VIP Seats to the Shows (all of them), and a dessert party for the fireworks (which we didn't stay for because we were exhausted but I'm sure it was amazing). I'm looking forward to other themed tours.”

“I stayed for a week. I was not expecting much but was blown away by how nice it was. The employees were all great. Housekeeping to management they all had a great attitude. The restaurant was so so but quick. My biggest disappointment was the bus system. Sometimes there was a painfully long wait but... An tram is being built that should speed things up quite a bit. I left a tablet in my room by mistake. I called from the airport and spoke with a manager. He personally went to the room and found it. He called me immediately to let me know that he found it and then walked it over to lost and found. A few days later it was delivered to me in Hawaii. The whole time I was there there were lots of positives and few negatives. I had thought about staying at a hotel off the Disney property but I am really glad that I didn't. By staying at the Caribbean I was able to maximize the fun and didn't have to worry about the logistics. They definitely had the great Disney attitude.”
