“This is a great company to book your airport transfers. Their web site so professional and can edit and see your transfers. I have few questions and Rafael Silva helped me with my reservation. And answered my questions promptly. He was very friendly, professional. I definitely advise this company who is looking for reliable, friendly and professional service. Plus this company has registered to BBB that's how I found them. It is a legit company. If something ever may go wrong, you have someone to address you problem. I think they are USA company and have travel agency there. I am not quite sure. Just in case , they have emergency USA and Dominican republic phone number on the voucher. I requested a specific time to be picked up and they honored it in few minutes and send me a new voucher momentary. My hotel was Luxury Bahia Princibe Ambar and Rafael inform me that vehicles are not allowed to enter the Ambar section so he advice me to another location within the hotel to be picked up momentary. “From start to finish our experience with Routes Car Rental in Orlando was... amazing. The shuttle was less than a 5 minute wait (as suggested, I called the number before getting my bag at claim), the car was ready immediately, no line. They require a major credit card for a $500 deposit, reasonable and expected. We were in and out in 15 minutes. Drove a beautiful yellow Jeep down the expressway for 15 minutes and we encountered a massive obstacle of stone and gravel spread over four lanes of traffic which had fallen off a truck. The result was myself and 4 other vehicles with flat tires. I called Routes, Susan was so kind, told me to be safe and suggested I call my road side assistance because I had declined their insurance. Unfortunately my road side assistance resulted in a four hour delay as they had technical difficulties and the communication was very poor. I called Routes multiple times to keep them updated and each time they greeted me calmly and said no worries, we’ll have another Jeep waiting for you upon your return. At 5:00 pm we arrived again, 5 hours later, and by 5:15 we were out the door in a new Jeep. Their patience and understanding was greatly appreciated during a very stressful time. They wished me safe travels and reminded me only good things to come for the rest of the weekend. TheJeep ended up very damaged, flat tire, bent rim, brake damaged, and leaking brake fluid. My insurance will have to be involved I’m sure but I was thankful they didn’t make me wait to discuss what had happened other than the explanation. I was skeptical because of the reviews I read while booking but my experience could not have been better.”

So we decided to rent a car and tour the area instead of being board in the airport. The desk attendant was very nice and gave us many options to choose from. A 1 day rental was far cheaper than I had expected since it was a last minute decision. Very satisfied with our experience.”

These guys beat everyone else's price by a LOT (my rental totalled about $70 with a bunch of extra milage, compared to the lowest chain which was Budget at $110 for only five hours!). I got my truck for 24 hours, for almost half the price. The math works for me! Plus, locally owned, friendly fellas, and my truck ran like a champ. Not a single complaint or problem. PS - you have to have your own basic insurance to rent from them.”
