“This was unexpectedly one of the best experiences we have ever had at a Cracker Barrel. The food was hot, drinks stayed filled, and we enjoyed the lengthy time we shared catching up with old friends from other states there. The manager was a very friendly guy who made us feel like we were family. But what stole our hearts the most was the very special waitress we had. Miss Mika was so very patient and loving with our 5 kids. She even took our 3 year old girl to the Old Country Store and let her pick out an item and purchased it for her with our permission. We were simply shocked at the kindness and genuine spirit of the staff we met. A lot of highly trafficked restaurants can become stuffy and make you feel as if you are just another tourist, but not these guys! I rarely write a review, but wow! This made a fantastic last meal on our trip before we head back home. Thanks to everyone there!”

“It was a Wednesday night, so the service was slow at first. Once we got a server, the experience was really good. I dropped money and the server returned it to me. The food I ordered was a really small portion, so they added some more. The workers were nice, it was clean, but the prices were a little high from what I'm used too. “I like this Giordano's so much more than the one on Sand Lake road. It avoids the construction and traffic in that area and it is a lot bigger and inviting. We had a big party, but they were able to join two tables for us. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. We had the Giordano's sampler platter, which went way too quickly it was so delicious. There were no issues with the food whatsoever. We got 3 deep dishes and a thin crust. Beware though, the thin crust is not so thin, I enjoyed it though, and you get a LOT if cheese. The deep dish is made in the traditional style, a buttery crust, some tomato sauce on top, and fillings and a ton of cheese. If you're familiar with Chicago deep dish, you'll know what I'm talking about, it's very filling! They even joined in when we brought our own cake in and sang Happy birthday. All in all a great experience for my family and I and a good bit of nostalgia for these ex-Chicagoans. Oh and they also played Tom Jones' "It's not unusual" , but strangely, no "What's New Pussycat?"”

“When we first pulled up I wasn't really impressed with the comestic look of the restaurant. My wife insisted we try it and I am glad I did. Some of the best real authentic Mexican food I have tried in a long time. It's even better then Mexico! The helpings were very well portioned and great quality.
