What it should be.

Clean and neat bathrooms. Rear entrance for professional drivers and showers.

Subway and Duncan inside are a good bonus.

I like the bathrooms more then the turnpike rest areas. For a regular driver.

Stopped in to fill up, scale & got a shower. This place was busy but well staffed and stocked. Snacks, soda & a subway inside as well. The shower was huge and clean! Top notch location if you find yourself in the area.

Nothing’s perfect so I don’t like to give 5 stars unless a place is outstanding. This Pilot Travel Center is certainly a nice place to stop, refuel, grab a Subway sandwich, snack or drink. It’s clean and well-stocked. I also saw that it’s a full-fledged truck stop with showers etc. I found parking to be crowded, but the parking spots not in front of the store are still pretty close. Regular gas is $3.39. Compared to $3.40 at the Turnpike service plazas, I’d rather go there. Namely because there is serious road work being performed on the exit/entrance to the Turnpike southbound.

This Pilot travel center and the surrounding area is very much an oasis and modern where it counts but also a throwback to an older Florida. Staff is very friendly and the facilities are always super clean.
