(February 3, 2019, 9:24 am)Nice trails for walk and enjoy. One down side: too many "yungters students" screaming and walking their dogs unleashed. So, for that reason, I wont come back on a weekend. Weekdays? maybe..hope they're busy on class.

(January 9, 2019, 6:31 am)Love these trails! But people need to follow the rules and leash their dogs. See photo for a good reason why! (Photos: Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake laid out across the trail. A rarity, for sure, but possible) Sometimes rattlers just wanna have sun... ????
(January 2, 2019, 8:34 pm)I ride here regularly from my home nearby. Great trail for biking. As far as scenery and wildlife, both are pretty average. Overall would recommend if you live nearby, but not worth going far for.
(October 28, 2018, 12:43 am)Whether you're into hiking, jogging, biking, photography or just looking for a nice nature filled adventure, Econ River Wilderness Area is a great stop. You may get lucky with chances of seeing many different bird species, an occasional Gopher Tortoise, Whitetail Deer or even a giant American Alligator on the Econ River. There are multiple trails, marked clearly with arrows that meander from higher scrub to lower wetlands bordering the Econ River. It's a great walk for families who are looking for an easy walk with interesting sites for photo opps. Enjoy, and walk quietly if you're looking for wildlife!
