Steph's Southern Soul Restaurant

I was told about this little home style comfort food restaurant by my SIL and it was amazing. I had the smothered pork chop with a piece of fried chicken (which I wish I had more of). The sides were tasty and didn't need to add any salt to it. The peach cobbler hit the spot at the end. I heard the cakes were amazing but I was too full to order any to go but that just means I will need to be back and try them next time.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch date there not long ago. My hubby enjoyed the best tips and his sides and I loved my seafood platter with broccoli casserole too. The peanut butter pie was amazing and I loved how thick and rich it was. I wish I was enjoying another slice now but we are not close by.

Nice family restaurant and great soul food. Line food but you don't serve yourself, which is great cause your not having people touching the serving spoons. You pay then sit at any open table. The servers were attentive.
Meatloaf, ribs, fried chicken, coselaw and mac and cheese were very good. Oh and the beef tips on mash were excellent!!! Will definitely come again.

We were graciously greeted as soon as we walked in and when we said it was our first visit we were explained how their restaurant flowed. It was so good that I can’t wait to return. The sides were so fresh and everything cooked perfectly.

The food was all amazing, staff and service put it over the top. Make the trip and enjoy a great meal. We had; chicken and dumplings, baked chicken and mashed potatoes, beef tips over rice. Do not miss out on the collard greens or any of the desserts.
