(March 1, 2020, 2:19 pm)Well kept campground with decent size spots for tents. Options for primitive camping, group camping or just car camping with the RVs. Clean bathrooms and friendly maintenance crew. Nearby walking trails and an observation tower. Would definitely recommend, just be sure to mind the rules as they are a little rigid about them.
(February 4, 2020, 11:08 am)Love this place. Nice rv spots. Very nice secluded tent areas. Astronomy club comes in on New Moons and reserves the place so be sure to check ahead of time. Joe in the office is super nice and will help with questions you may have. There is a dump on site. Sites have electric and water only.
(November 13, 2019, 7:40 pm)This was a very nice park. They had pretty walking / hiking trails that were well maintained. I saw lovely showers, birds and wildlife and enjoyed the quit nature here. It is a nice park
(November 3, 2019, 3:10 pm)Very nice park. Well maintained. Long trail, short trail, river access, playground for kids. Beautiful tree lined paths. A nice quiet spot to enjoy nature not far out of the city.
(October 9, 2019, 1:06 pm)I stayed 9 days in the RV park. During the week I had the park to myself, very relaxing. Not much cell service or TV stations which is fine by me. By the second day I'd completed all the trails and started making my own. Very nice property with mixed oak hammocks and cypress swamps. Not much wildlife though, mostly gopher turtles and armadillos.Next time I go I wouldn't stay as long.
