There was alot of cars in line, but it went pretty fast. It was the first time I tried their sweet tea and it was really good. I don't know why I waited so long to return to Checkers. “Based on one stop for lunch while shopping far from home. My wife and I both had the sushi lunch special and hot tea. The tea was a very nice green tea- above average quality. The miso soup was well done. The salad was only iceberg lettuce with a few slivers of carrot. But the dressing was made with a puree of raw carrots, which was different and pleasant tasting. The sushi was good, not exceptional, in a decent presentation. A big plus is they have gluten free soy sauce on request. This let my gluten-intolerant wife fully enjoy her sushi. The service was attentive. The interior is clean and well done at it's price pointed in fairly minimalist style. This is not a high end restaurant. But for what we paid we felt we had a very enjoyable meal in a relaxing environment. We would eat there again if ever back in the area and hungry.”
