This park is so pretty and well maintained and I didnt even know it existed. The field is perfect for throwing a Frisbee, there is a water feature although I'm not sure if it's to play in or just look at. Lots of shaded areas with picnic tables, large playground that is only needing a few more swings to be perfect and large bathrooms that were somewhat clean. There is also a place to walk around the water that was pretty but we didnt have time to explore it all. We will be back for sure.
Sims Park is one of my favorite places to go now!!! I went to see the tribute band for lLed Zeppelin. They have a play ground with a water pad for kids and a small outdoor workout area!!! There are gazebos and a water walk with giant chairs!!! Ducks are swimming around with turtles and giant fish! This park is very cool 😎, and it sits right downtown New Port Richey!
A peaceful park that sits basically connected to historic downtown New Port Richey. It's a great park to relax or stroll through after eating or shopping. Plenty of wildlife to view. The park holds various events for all ages and demographics. An amazing place to catch a sunset as well!
Took my grandchildren here to see the native American dancers. This will teach them about other cultures. They really enjoyed it. This is the first time we have gone. Of course, the fair rides were nearby, so we went on some rides. My granddaughter loved the face paint, but it will cost you $20.
I usually come here in the afternoons to ride my bike after a day of work. It’s a very quiet and cozy place in the middle of town. It’s friendly, and there’s a surprising number of squirrels—they tend to be very friendly. There aren’t many places to buy food, but it’s a great place to find peace.
