You'll see a beautiful cloud of steam rising from each tray of food. The selection is great but not to much to mix rices beans soups meats and veggies. The appetizer selection of fried foods is grade 'A'. My mouth waters like a baby with it's first two teeth breaking through it's mouth, when I see the display of foods. I was looking to replace my bed sheets and although I did not find exactly what I was looking for, I was happy with all of the help offered. I would also like to give another 5 stars ***** to the little girl in Starbucks, her name was Skylar. Just WOW! I was extremely impressed by the way she handled a very rude customer about 2 people in front of me, she was calm, professional, and handled it better than I would have. All the other girls were just standing there and watching (probably taking notes :) Also, my drink was AMAZING!!! Job VERY WELL DONE SKYLAR!!! Highly recommend going here!”

“My wife and I went in October on a Saturday night and had a great time. We arrived around midnight after dancing at Shepherd’s tiki bar before that. DJ was playing good top 40 music (and remixes) that anyone can shake their hips to. This was a much classier place than Ybor City dance clubs. People of all ages were at the Wave. There was no cover charge because it was their off season. Their busy season runs March-Sept and that’s when they charge an entry fee.”

“Large vanilla iced latte. No extra shot needed to be strong. 3 pumps of vanilla instead of the regular 4 and it was amazing. Southwest is also dog friendly with a small dog friendly menu. We got our dog a "pup cup" which is basically a cup of whip cream with dog treats in it. We had a wonderful time. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere.”
