Dr. Romeo Acosta Jr, MD

I am a huge fan of Dr. Acosta. He is a straight shooting doctor that is actually interested in helping. I have tried several doctors in Tampa and I now plan my insurance changes around his in network availability.

When I walked into the office, it was very clean and friendly. Going to the OB/GYN is sometimes not the most comfortable situation and they made it very comfortable. I was first brought in to Dr. Acosta‘s office to meet him and go over my medical forms, and he was incredibly friendly, and made me feel comfortable. Then he brought me to the room where we were going to do my annual exam, and he told me every step of the way what he was doing and answered all of my questions. For anyone who feels uncomfortable with a man as your doctor for this type of thing I want to let you know that he will make you feel very comfortable and at ease. I usually see a woman, but wanted to get in as I haven’t had an annual visit in a very long time and glad I did. Otherwise I would’ve not met Dr. Acosta.

Dr Acosta is very friendly and very professional. He is experienced and made me feel at ease during my visit. I am very happy I found such a wonderful doctor. By far the best experience I’ve had in a very long time with a doctor.

Dr. Acosta was very professional, has a great personality and most of all listening ear. He thoroughly explained everything to me as well.

I was warmly greeted by the staff and by Dr. Acosta. I was very pleased with the amount time Dr. Acosta took reviewing my medical history with me to make sure he had all the information he needed to evaluate my concerns. He took the time to explain the findings of my exam and the treatment plan. I would very much recommend this practice!
