“The reservation system is a certified mess!! 😵 But when you eventually manage to get a spot, it's a really great place to relax and spend a few nights away! Each site has water and electric hookups, as well as a charcoal grill and picnic table for dining. The bathrooms have basic showers with endless hot water, and there are even washer/dryer units for the longer term stays available. Camp store prices are about what you'd expect. But the store folks are helpful and friendly. And can provide firewood and fire rings for those who like to sit by the flames before turning in. Sites vary in quality and comfort. Just like anywhere. Do your due diligence, and check out your sites before booking. There are video reviews of the various sites on YouTube with a quick search if you're not local also!”

“Good Times restaurant makes the most delicious crispy duck I’ve ever had! I suggest ordering the original recipe as opposed to the cherry duck because I think the cherry duck sauce is too sweet. Duck is one of my favorite dishes and I ordered it over 100 restaurants throughout the United States no one makes no restaurant makes better crispy duck than Good Times on Tierra Verde. I’ve eaten here so many times I know to reserve my duck when I make a reservation so they don’t sell out.”

“Gear quick trip! Dalton & Lindsey excellent host, loved our party of 5 had its own private excursion! A spacious, clean, pontoon boat, 30 min travel to/from the island; 1 hour snorkeling time. We snorkeled for shells as the water to cloudy, no fish. Loved our surprise manatee siting and school of tarpon. Thank you for a great experience!”

“A local bait shop. It has almost everything we need to go fishing. the person/owner at the shop was very nice and he helped us to pick up what we needed. He also suggested a good place for us to fish. he is so friendly. the plaza has a lot of parking. his shop located where there is a subway and convenience store, it is so convenience to grab food and snacks before heading out fishing. his price is good. we strongly recommend this store!!!”

I tried the Philly Cheese Steak and the bread is the bread we use in Philly and the steak and cheese made perfectly! “Was in Indian rocks beach for a week and found this place in a coupon book and decided to check it out. It was about a 45 minute drive from where we were but it was well worth it. We got there around 4 to beat any dinner crowd and that was the perfect time to go. We say outside by the pool and the atmosphere was great. The food was great as well. I got the Caribbean chicken while my wife got oysters. The oysters were fresh and had great flavor. Service was great as well and the prices are reasonable. This is a definite go”
