Masjid Al-Nur

One of the things I appreciate most about Masjid Al Nur is the variety of Islamic scholars they bring for Khutba each Friday for Jummah. Getting to hear different perspectives on topics relating to the Quran, hadith, and general religious guidance has been incredibly beneficial for expanding my knowledge. I always leave feeling like I learned something new that strengthened my faith.

It's also inspirational to see how much the mosque has grown over the past 3 years. Given how packed it gets for Jummah prayers these days, it's nearly impossible to find space! But this just shows how the community is thriving. I'm glad to hear they are purchasing a larger property half a mile away to accommodate more worshippers. The growth of Masjid Al Nur is a testament to the quality of their leadership, programs, and sense of community they have built. I hope the new, bigger mosque will help welcome and serve even more Muslims in the Bartow area. The brothers and sisters behind this mosque have done an excellent job thus far and I'm sure their efforts will continue to bear fruit. This is an essential institution for the community.

Before I moved to different place, Masjid Al Nur was my go to mosque. The atmosphere in Masjid Al Nur is extremely welcoming and positive. There is a strong sense of brotherhood among community members that you can feel as soon as you enter.

They host a family night once a month where speakers present on relevant topics and issues facing the Muslim community. These talks are very engaging and thought-provoking. It's a fantastic way to unite everyone and have meaningful discussions. After the speaker has finished, there is always a tasty dinner provided. This gives people a chance to mingle and chat in a relaxed environment. Getting to know your neighbors over a good meal really brings the community closer together.

Masjid Al Nur provides wonderful programs to educate, connect, and nourish their members spiritually. From the warm greetings you receive when you walk in the door to the last bites of food at family night – you feel part of something special. This is more than just a mosque – it's a second family for most of community members. Highly recommend!

This musallah has been opened recently. They have started to offer Jummah few weeks ago. This is the first place of worship for Muslims in Bartow. Musallah is conveniently located on Hwy 98. It is right next to Hungry Howie’s.
