Farm Girl Quilting

FGQ - Angie’s last minute retreat venue cancellation turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The new venue in Parrish - chef’s kiss!! The quilting building, meals, cabins, view and more were amazing. The eclectic group of ladies were like minded in their pursuit of the joy of piecing quilts. The big auditorium provided plenty of space for sewing and spreading out. The food, prizes, snacks and just plain fun were great. I eagerly look forward to the 6th annual FGQ retreat. Mom and I will definitely be there.

The location was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The food was good. I loved meeting new people, watching the projects come together, and liked they free with helpful suggestions when asked. The interactions between the friends was fun to watch. Everyone seemed to have a good time while accomplishing alot. Wouldn't those who think quilters are serious and shy be surprised if they walked into that room?

Loved our T-shirt quilt for a special friend! We left the details and design in her hands and what she created was more than a quilt! Highly recommend to anyone!

Farm Girl Quiliting is my favorite quilting shop for all crafting needs. They have a variety of new, beautiful fabrics to choose from and a variety of staff that have years of knowledge. This quilt was hand stitched from my grandmother in 2006. It suffered some damages and Debbie from Farm Girl Quilting fixed it right up for me. Photos included. She hand stitched every hole, reattached pieces of lace, reinforced the backing and added a perfectly color matched new panel. Now I can keep my grandmother with me for another 20 years. Thank you Debbie and Angie from Farm Girl!

Farm Girl Quilting is 10/10 - customer service, variety of supplies and sewing machines to purchase, and extremely patient with newbies like me. I attended the beginner quilting class with no knowledge whatsoever. Angie was extremely patient with me and helped me through the entire process of making my first quilt.
