  My boyfriend & I went camping here for a weekend about a month ago and it was such a beautiful experience. There was plenty of space and not many people there, so it felt very private. The owner (Paul) and girl who work there are friendly, genuine people and were very welcoming & accommodating. When we arrived, we were welcomed by Paul’s dog Maizy, who’s a total sweetheart. She’s definitely the camp mascot. Throughout our weekend there we got a couple of visits from her at our site :).. The campsite we chose was right in front of the lake and the view was so lovely and peaceful! We walked some trails, fished at the lake and went kayaking as well. We really enjoyed observing the wildlife too. Also, as I’m sure you’ve seen, they have goats and longhorns on the property. There’s so many nice things to say about this place. I definitely recommend visiting! We will certainly be back. 💜

  Happened upon this place by accident and so glad we did. Owners and ranch personnel are over the top nice. Camping spots for all size rigs include water & 30/50 amp, fire rings, picnic table, garage cans, standing grills, dump site.
  Large amount of tent camping spots right on the waters edge. Bathrooms w/showers very clean. Working cattle ranch with cattle drives morning and dusk and campers are always invited to ride along. Large goat pen accessible to all to go in mingle and feed them. Cattle can be fed any time thru the fences.

  I enjoyed a very relaxing 1 month stay in my motorhome at this beautiful campground ranch. It's a serene landscape with lots of waterfront views located right in between Tampa and Orlando. They have cows, goats, biking trails, and even a bridge with swings where you can sit and look over the water which is teeming with fish, birds, and turtles. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. Wifi and cellular service are also great here. What more can you ask for?

  Our family LOVED our time at Wilderness Shores! From the morning cattle drives of the Texas Longhorns to the beautiful hiking trails and playing with the baby goats…this place is truly a hidden gem! The property is absolutely gorgeous! Bald eagles, anhingas, osprey and so many more birds. The staff are friendly as well as the owner who is happy to show you around the property. Nice bathrooms and showers on the property as well. We can’t think of a more calm and relaxing place to visit with our RV. 100% recommend.

  Beautiful place, breathtaking scenery, and experiences the kids will remember forever. I 100% recommend if you want to get the full experience. The staff are very helpful and did everything to make sure we had a great time.
  If your there in the morning you’ll get to see them drive the longhorns out, and again in the evening when they drive them back in. If you want to explore they have Kayaks and paddle boards available, as well as multiple hiking trails. Don’t forget to visit the baby goats during your stay!
