My father in law had to be transferred from California to Texas and has a broken hip and shoulder. Air Medical Group was fantastic Raji was the perfect nurse for him. She was amazing. Joe assisted us effortlessly from start to finish answering all our questions and helping the process go smoothly. I can't recommend them enough.

My sister for 3 years had resided in a care facility on Long Island. Her dementia should have provided her with a care facility trained and experienced in memory care. It took about a year for me to gain guardianship of her, the court allowing me to relocate her from NY to Utah. Sounds easy, right? NOT.
Both of us are in our 70's and my health didn't allow me to travel to get her. I am her sole surviving relative. She has no children, no partner, no one.
I investigated travel options from freelance nurses, legitimate travel nurses, finally medical transport services.
Nothing seemed feasible cost wise, experienced, reliable, or realistic until Joe Gonzales of Air Med replied to my inquiry. Timing is everything. Nothing seemed to phase him. He listened and calmly replied "We can do it. Let me give you some options."
Now I'm a Nervous Nelly. I needed the court's notified and approval. I needed a new facility in Utah with a vacancy. I needed current facility to prepare sister's discharge. This dominoe would leave Air Med, when all was aligned, to provide an escort, book all travel and transportation at a moment's notice and put everything in motion.

What seemed last minute and impossible to me occurred inside 2 days. Me, I'm waiting for Murphy's Law and Cinderella to turn into a pumpkin when escort Keron called and says he'd be leaving the next day to fly to New York to meet my sister prior to their following early morning flight to Utah.
I'm still shocked that Air Med was pulling this together to make it happened. I consider myself a seasoned professional traveler, but not like this. There were way too many moving parts.

I did the research. I checked BBB, looked for complaints, read reviews, compared companies, rates, read backgrounds on owners.
I am more than satisfied I made the right choice. Joe Gonzales and his possee of Angels 😇 will forever be in my prayers. Sister is safe in Utah and we are forever grateful. Job well done.

We used Air Medical for a medical escort from Fl to NY. We were out of options after my dad had a sudden stroke, was going through rehabilitation and we needed to get him back to NY to be with family so my mother and he had more support. Air Medical explained the intricacies of what they could offer and how it would work. They took the time to explain and let me ask all sorts of questions. Christina helped put my dad at ease medically and emotionally and provided comfort to my mom while this was going on. When you have someone that is just dedicated to the medical needs during the flight it does take a load off of the family. We very much appreciate all that Christine and Air Medical did for us, on short notice - from the intake to the day of travel, it was a wonderful experience.
