Captiva Beach Resort

I stayed one night this past weekend because I had a friend vacationing in Siesta Key who I was coming to visit. I arrived much earlier than check in allowed and just wanted to park my car so I could walk down to the beach and her condo, but the front desk agent kindly allowed me to check in early, which allowed me to get settled quickly and then go about my day. I didn't spend much time in the room, but it was immaculately clean and roomy with a spacious kitchenette. There is also a pool nearby that they share with the surrounding resorts. The walkway to the beach is very close and took less than 2 minutes to get to the beautiful white sand. I did have a few mosquitos in my room, but I think that was probably due to the location of my room which was tucked away in the foliage (where mosquitos hang out). Overall this was an excellent find considering the location and the value. I'm already looking at dates next year to come back and bring the family this time!

We stayed at their king suite, it’s pretty clean and quite. Private beach is 2 min walk from the place. We had a nice stay.

Excellent location where you have a beach and restaurants all within walking distance. The rooms were updated and very clean with extremely helpful staff. On two occasions , staff stopped what they were doing to help us. The only thing we found needed in the rooms were hooks to allow us to hang anything from a bathrobe to wet swimsuits.
