A Good Yarn

I'm from Wisconsin on vacation and was looking for a local yarn shop here to get some goodies. This shop is amazing. Well organized, a nice variety of yarn and displays of patterns. There were even notions I couldn't find at my local yarn shop. I love that one wall is the Florida wall with local yarn and goods. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and very good at enabling my addiction. Check out the reef wall with crocheted animals. Thank you for a fun hour and I will be back!

Nice selection of yarns, notions and knitting needles including the hard-to-find Skacel Addi click Standard Rocket2 Squared interchangeable set as well as the standard circular Rocket Squared. Local hand dyed yarns, weaving and the nicest staff, too!

Conveniently located just off Route 75 with lots of easy, free parking. This is a MUST stop for fiber artists when traveling through the Sarasota, Florida area.

Visiting Sarasota, looking for a place to get great yarn for a blanket for grandbaby #2, and this place was the best find ever! Susan greeted me despite a very busy Saturday, helped me find exactly what I wanted and made me feel completely at home. Thrilled with my purchase and can’t wait to start knitting it. This will be a must do on every visit from now on.

I absolutely loved this shop! The selection of yarns was fabulous - such a unique variety. And the yarns by the local dyer kittybea were gorgeous! The staff was quick to help me and answer my questions. When I came it was very busy. I was personally glad they asked customers to mask. Would definitely return!

Amazing yarn store! Big selection of beautiful yarns, fiber art accessories and tools, as well as books and the most prestigious knitting magazines. The owner and employees are so very kind, and everything is priced very fairly. 10/10 recommend!
