  Wonderful area for viewing wildlife. Viewing area near lake leads to deck to visualize the lake and all the 🐊 gators. There are trails, campsites, boat tours, and canoe rental. ( metal canoes)🤣. Visitors center has a beautiful array of wildlife ( taxidermy).

  I love the state park it’s the only one I’m aware of that’s nearby where you can see beautiful wildlife dear all kinds of birds beautiful flowers fields and fields of yellow flowers the Myakka River gorgeous trees moss

  Here is a beautiful walkway with a bird watching landing with a viewer. Nice area to see the birds on the water or in the grasslands.

  Such a gorgeous area to visit. Lots to see lakes and marsh, alligators (tons), birds, trees etc. It's all breathtakingly beautiful. Be sure to check out the tree canopy trail with the swinging bridge and lookout!!!

  Great bird walk that extends well out into the river and offers some of the best views of wading species to be seen on the gulf coast. There's ample parking and it has never been crowded when I have been there.
