(July 13, 2023, 3:02 pm)I want to preface this review by stating that I personally have over 20 years of experience in the Automotive field as a salesman, technician, and now in the education sector. I have personally owned more than 45 vehicles in my life as well, so I have a lot of experience as a consumer.
We purchased a vehicle for my son yesterday @ Sarasota Subaru. It was far and away the very best experience that I have had at a car dealership, let alone a sales experience- where most consumers dread having to do.
Most of the work and negotiation was handled over the phone as I had to travel over 3 hours to pick up this vehicle. Mark Jones (salesperson) was amazing and Mark the Sales Manager was also awesome. They were both honest, and pleasant to deal with, and priced the car fairly without having to go back and forth negotiating over and over- very much appreciated as we are all busy. They respected my time, and my situation. The car was being looked at by someone in person while we were doing business over the phone. But because I was first by a short window of time, Mark looked out for me and did the right thing and allowed me the opportunity to get the car. Class act in a business that is rife with shady practices and greed.
Once I arrived, the great experience continued. I was probably in and out on the road in less 45 minutes. Although it was a slower evening from a customer standpoint, what I really appreciated most was how Mark had listened well during our conversation and communicated with Brad the Finance Manager. Understanding that I am an experienced technician, both of them suggested an extended warranty, but understood why I might not be the best candidate for one (although most consumers are.) So they were respectful of my time and personal situation and did not beat me over the head with it.
Regarding the car- Clearly a diamond in the rough- no accidents, single owner vehicle in immaculate shape with very low mileage, which was exactly why I drove 3 hours to get it. I believe that they would not put anything less than this type of used car on their lot. Bottom line- The next time I need another vehicle, I will be checking in with them (and their other stores) first, and you should too.
(July 3, 2023, 10:08 pm)Sarasota Suburu has provided me with the best service that I have received at an automobile dealership. In addition the service fees have been affordable and appropriate. My experience in the past almost six years of ownership of a 2017 Outback Touring has convinced me to consider getting another Subaru as a new car. Previously I was an avid BMW and Infiniti owner. The high quality of the service at Sarasota Subaru has changed my brand loyalty.
(May 20, 2023, 6:37 pm)Bought my new used 2021 Toyota Camry here. Bill was my sales associate. He was very nice and answered all the questions I had about the vehicle. I also asked that there be new tires put on the car and included in the sale and they sold it to me with free new tires. I highly recommend as the associated here are very professional and know great customer service.
(March 20, 2023, 10:36 pm)First, four years ago I stopped by after considering other car options and stopped by the dealership at closing on a Sunday. As I drove up to a bay of new Subaru models Mark Lees was installing cones to prevent driving into the area I had drove into. As I was perusing the cars he quietly came up and explained when I was finished how to exit, asked if there were any questions in which I asked for his card. Clearly it was quitting time, but without pressure and a willingness to spend time discussing any questions I decided to give the guy a break and come back that next week to see him about a serious purchase. Mark clearly loves Subaru and is packed with information. He made the whole experience painless which after many purchases in the past was a first. The trade in was fair as well as the out the door price. He even threw in a hitch when he discovered I’d need for my bikes rack. I’ve sent him customers who’ve expressed the same satisfaction.
Which brings me to today, four years of great service from Frank Suarez, a new set of tires with only minor repairs needed mostly under warranty. I now have about 45,000 miles on my 2019 Forrester and recently experienced air conditioning issues which were repaired last month but after having cold air for a few weeks another component needed replacing. Without any hesitation my service advisor Frank conferred with his service manager Cori and found a solution to remedy the costly repair. The whole service team from the assistants to Frank, Danny and now Cori have always exceeded in providing excellent service to a first time Subaru owner who has now become a lifetime Subaru owner. I can’t give enough praise to this dealership as a whole but having a service department who cares about customer service after the sale is beyond refreshing.
