“Our Mother wanted to stay in her own home, but wasn't able to care for herself. A Lending Hand provided her 24 hour care for approximately 1 year. It was a wonderful relationship! All the caregivers Tina scheduled were professional, reliable and caring. Although Mom presented with some challenges , all the staff were respectful toward her. Some have kept in touch with Mom even now that she's in an Assisted Living Facility. We only moved her to Assisted Living to give her more activities and companionship. My family highly recommends A Lending Hand to families who need help for their loved ones.”

“We were sitting around talking about something sweet. We all had a sweet tooth and was hungry at the same time. Then somebody brought up sweet potato pie. Why did they say that? Now normally on August you can't really find a good sweet potato pie but low and behold my people told me about this place. I am not from Sarasota so I didn't know the gem they had down the road. Literally. So what did we do? Call them. How many lies do you have? I have three left. Hold them I'm on my way. Now once my friend for there she decided to buy some barbecue too. So we could snack but the main objective today was pie. She scooped up some brisket sandwiches and some ribs too. When she walked in the house and gave me my own individual pie I'm thinking it's just a slice. Nope it's an individual deep dish pie for one person. Did I say deep dish? Oh yes God! The crust was not store bought. It had a heavy presence of butter, it was flaky and it was also slight sweet. I could have ate the pie crust all by itself. The taste omg just the right texture. It was heavy, not loose. Sweet but not overpowering the sweet potato. Just the right amount of butter, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg. Jesus my friend can't never come visit Atlanta without bringing me at least two of these pies. I couldn't eat it all at one time either. So not sleep on these pies. Oh and there were no strings either. The barbecue was dry rub and some of the best I have ever had. I wish I had more of it but again it was a snack and not the focus. Best believe I will have me another pie.”

“It’s been over 2 weeks since our stay and I’m still in awe of how perfect this resort was for our very large extended family! And I mean RESORT! Upon entering the wooden gate, you step into a breathtaking garden full of Florida natives that leads to the main house to the right or the path down to the tennis court. Be sure not to let the tree swing distract you on your way! The house is large, has very tall ceilings, and is perfect for entertaining with a kitchen that has a peninsula where people can gather while also open to one of the two large living areas. The dining room has an oversized dining table and buffet with lots of natural light coming in from a window that takes up an entire wall! There are so many great features inside the house but the outdoor ones are also incredible. The wrap around porch overlooks the property and the views are amazing, reminiscent of being up in a tree house. When we weren’t swimming in what looked to be a brand new pool and heated spa, we played tennis on a beautifully maintained clay court while family watched courtside at an outdoor table complete with the biggest umbrella I’ve even seen. (There is another one next to the pool, as well as a fire pit). We also took out the kayaks (one person, single, and doubles) and within two minutes down a canal, you’re in the intercoastal waters and a nearby sandbar where you can get out and play as the water gets really shallow! I only have so much time to write down everything that I LOVED about this truly Personal Resort but words do not do this place justice!! It is a must see for yourself kind of paradise!! “Dr. Friedman is a consummate professional. He knows his profession. He can make decisions on your behalf correctly in seconds and act on them. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for eye surgery. He removed my cataract and replaced it with a custom J&J Technis Synergy interocular lens, did a laser procedure on my cornea, and now I see better than when I was in my 20s. I chose the Platinum package and I could not be happier. Money well spent. I have not used glasses, (other than sun glasses) since my surgery.
