“My experience with Carsmetics in Sarasota was nothing less than magnificent. The general manager, Mike, went above and beyond to help make our car look good as new. The diligence he showed in coordinating our repair with others while maintaining the rest of the operations of the store was impressive to say the least. He was fair, professional, diligent and courteous to all the customers and employees that came in for his assistance. It still shocks me that he is the only employee who manages the store each day they are open. His dedication to the company, the employees and most importantly the customers is impressive and refreshing. I truly hope the company recognizes the absolute gem they have running the Sarasota location and does whatever it takes to keep Mike there. He truly embodies customer service and what it means to be a fantastic manager. I will 100% return to Carsmetics as long as Mike is there to fix any further issues I may face. He is one of a kind.”

“We had a great weekend at Siesta Key Island House! The kitchen was so big and full of utensils, cups, plates anything you can think of they had!! The rooms were all so spacious and comfortable. “This restaurant is inside the lobby area of the Hotel Indigo. I'm not sure of all the hours, but this is a Friday night and they are closing at 9pm, not 11p as Google states. I had the Flounder Alfredo Florentine and it was delightful. Enough sauce to use on the veggies but not so much it was drowning. Perfect amount for me. Potatoes were tender and tasty. The service was better than the food. I sat in the corner to get work done. She was not overbearing, but she did check in me and refilled my water as needed, which was appreciated. I was staying at the hotel and ate there out of convenience but was pleasantly surprised!”

“We stumbled across this little gem of a restaurant while visiting Sarasota. I’m from Houston. Texas so it’s difficult to impress me with food. We have some of the best eclectic as well as fine dining restaurants. Fork & Hen is on par for sure. We tried the Blue Plate fried chicken, chicken & waffles, the falafel appetizers & iced tea.. Everything was amazing. All the food and sauces are from scratch & you can taste it! I love the added touch of the homemade pickles to these dishes. Can’t wait to come back & try something else when I’ll be there in October.”
