  A life draining break up with my ex-girlfriend led me into deep depression in January of 2012. With my girlfriend no longer at my side and the weight of the world on my shoulders, I thought I had no friends left and no purpose to live. The pain eventually led me to the doors of this church and the Spirit of God was there. I was already saved but I was once again lost in the world and in sin. I was in a fragile state of mind and God spoke a word straight to my soul and to my situation through this man, Pastor Henry L. Wright Sr. Never met this man before then, never even seen the walls of this church, but the minute God pricked my heart and lifted my spirits with the sermon he gave, I knew that this was where I needed to be. I hadn't been to church in 4 years before I walked through the doors of Grace. But now, I find it hard just to miss one Sunday, the Spirit of this church and the Word that God sends to us is just that addicting. They keep the love of God in their hearts and they keep the word of God first. We laugh together, we cry together, and we even struggle together like a family; but deep down, we all have a burning love in our hearts for God. And I'm convinced, in my mind and spirit, that this is where God has called me to be.
  
  "So, friends, we can now—without hesitation—walk right up to God, into “the Holy Place.” Jesus has cleared the way by the blood of his sacrifice, acting as our priest before God. The “curtain” into God’s presence is his body. So let’s do it—full of belief, confident that we’re presentable inside and out. Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching." Hebrews 10:19-25
