“One of my favorite hikes in northern Orlando. A huge grassy (sometime muddy) plain filled with palm trees perfect to set up a hammock and watch the sun set/rise. If you can, try to plan your trip during a foggy morning, it's breathtaking. Also if you read Robert's other reviews he seems to think most hikes in central Florida are only worth 2 stars. ”

“Awesome short hiking/birding loop. If you got an hour to kill the airport take an Uber down here and check it out. Big ancient oaks, pastureland, wetland and open water make for some nice diversity in an easy to reach spot.”

“This is a beautiful park with a small pavilion. Most of the entertainment here is of the natural variety with hikes on the unpaved trails, views of the lake, watching the boats coming in and going out. The atmosphere is quiet and contemplative.”
