“Starlight Baptist Church, Street Ministry, which meets every Saturday at Ft. Mellon Park @ the Duck Pond. There is live gospel music, Bible preaching. Preaching starts at 11:a.m. On Nov. 17, 2018, we had our annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, Evangelist John Bailey, gave a message on " Giving Thanks to the Lord". John holds the world record in speed and accuracy with whip and fastest knift throw. The meal was Turkey, stuffing, gravy, collard greens, mixed veggies, cranberry jelly, yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, soda and water. We also passed out blessing bags ( hygiene items, socks, wash clothes, etc..) and blankets. We served 82 meals, 5 people accepts the Lord, (that's what it is all about). I want to thank everyone who worked so hard, donated items and money to make this Thanksgiving Luncheon a hugh success. Normally we serve grilled hot dogs, chips, cookies, soda and water. All are welcome.”
