Aunt Kates

Was staying at St. Augustine Beach and wanted to do a local seafood place that would also offer us a decent sunset. Well, came to Aunt Kates and checked both wishes off the list. The food was delicious and really reasonably priced to boot. We requested a seat outside by the water which was wonderful and caught a beautiful sunset. The service was fantastic and came with great recommendations, including the clam chowder. Would highly recommend having a sunset meal here if you are in the area!

One of our favorite seafood spots to go to. A real gem on the necklace that is Augustine. Food was fresh and delicious, staff was prompt and well-versed in their menu. There really isn’t anything on their menu that you would find disappointing. I would recommend eating outside if you can because the views are breathtaking.

I have had everything on the menu, but keep going back to the fried shrimp.

They are large and are blessed with a light batter that lets the taste of the shrimp be the thing you remember.

This time we had some a fried green tomato’s and Madison had the ahi tuna.

I have always been fortunate to have had a n excellent waitress or waiter. This time was no way exception.

We had several rounds and ate outside which is the best ,weather permitting.

Please take the time to read the history of this family’s contribution to the area going back 100 years, it will certainly enrich your experience.

Cute little place on the river. We stopped in for apps and a drink. Cameron was our server and he was awesome! Super friendly and attentive. We got a nice little basket of delicious breads and butter as a bonus we didn't expect.
We ordered gator tail and a shrimp basket to share. Perfect amount of food for a quick app!
And that gator tail was yummy!!!

Dockside boat parking available. From the river it was a nice waterfront outdoor patio seating. Greeted by friendly host staff and sat quickly. The appetizers came quickly. Food was simple comfort style. Nice atmosphere for a simple lunch
