The grouper and prime rib were delicious. We came in after a large group, so the food wait was a little long but worth it. Our waitress Christina was excellent and very knowledgeable about the menu and St.Augustine which helped the time go by fast.
We didn't order any appetizer this evening but did try the Monday Wine Special! This was a fantastic deal! 25.00 for an amazing Italian White Vermentino! It paired wonderfully with our food.
We loved dining on the water & this restaurant has been here for years. It's definitely a must try if you're heading here to St. Augustine.
I honestly wish I could remember our waiters name. My husband and I went to The Reef on our last night on Vilano Beach this past Tuesday. He was extremely friendly and attentive. His recommendations were spot on.
I got the the blackened Halibut. Oh heavens this was wonderful. It was seasoned perfectly. The accompanying sauce was light, tangy, and went went beautifully with the halibut. I fell in love with the saffron rice. Oh was it good. My husband got the grilled seafood trio. It was cooked beautifully, and it looked delicious. For dessert he got the chocolate cake and I got the bread pudding with vanilla bourbon sauce. I could've ate it all night long. Wasn't heavy and the sauce was exceptional. You have to go to The Reef. We felt welcomed and the staff was genuinely great. Our Waiter was exceptional.
I was looking for someplace nice to celebrate our 12 year anniversary and lucked upon The Reef while searching. I'm glad I did. Great location and atmosphere, making a reservation was very easy, and everything we had was delicious. We got the Coconut Jumbo shrimp appetizer and split the Filet dinner, with a slice of salted caramel cheesecake for desert. T
We had our Anniversary brunch at The Reef. They offered Brunch as well as normal Lunch options with a complimentary glass of champagne. We were seated on time with our reservation and the staff were all very friendly. They also had a musician performing just inside the door going into the restaurant. The food was hot, tasty, and presented nicely. We will definitely be back.
