“I love the affordability of this vet care under the thrive program. They always text to follow up after appointments to see how the dog is doing. They respond to text if you have any questions. I just had my female eight-month-old dog spayed and it was very affordable, compassionate, and easy. The dog is doing great and was sent home with anti-inflammatory drugs to help with swelling or pain..She is eating, Drinking, and going potty. It feels like personal service to me because of the good follow up. I highly recommend it”

Dr Tyler and her assistant were amazing and kind.They knew how nervous I was and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and really listened to me. The root canal was quick and painless. “Gary took 8 of us on a private trip to Tallahassee from Jacksonville after hurricane Dorian forced our game to be moved. We had no way to get to Doak Stadium and were worried we may miss the game but Gary came through in a big way for us. He secured us a luxury 9 passenger van and arrived promptly at 7am so we could make the 2 1/2 hour trek to the game. The van was very clean and he was thoughtful enough to include coolers with ice and some cold drinks for us to enjoy on the ride. He also let us charge our cell phones and told us interesting stories about the Jacksonville and beyond area. We enjoyed his company so much that we insisted he join us for the entire game once we arrived to Tallahassee. I plan to bring my wife and son back to Jacksonville soon and when I do I will definitely be taking another Tour with Gary. He was without a doubt the best guide ever and really came through for our group. More than a guide I now consider him a friend. Thanks Gary! A+”

“I was looking for a new vet, and someone in my neighborhood recommended Matanzas River. We went today for the first time, and saw Dr. Lopez. We spent almost 2 hours there with our 3 dogs. The room was large, and clean. Vet techs Amanda and Dirk were great, especially with our nervous girl, Molly.(see photo) Dr. Lopez was professional and thorough, and her bedside manner was great. The front desk staff didn't seem very welcoming at first, but seemed to warm up a bit in the end. I would recommend Matanzas River Animal Hospital for their staff, clean environment and reasonable prices.”

“I purchased a 2022 cart from John and Dale and I must say they made the process beyond easy with no pressure. From the financing to finding out that the cart wouldn’t fit in my garage, they took care of it all. I saw a few negative reviews around honoring the warranty and I must disagree. We had a minor issue with the cart and they came next day and picked it up and brought it back the next day, no questions asked. I will day that it used to offer a lot more variety and cheaper souvenir options and I think they need to go back to that,as everyone cannot afford pricely gifts and.souvenirs. Go back to the way it was.,when Mr.Tom was alive. Staff is very nice and the high prices are the only thing that I can see that needs to be changed. I suggest some lower prices t- shirts and shells for everyday tourists to buy. Mr.Tom had it perfect,with a mix of stuff for all income levels. Please go back to that and you'll be great! Loved the Ice cream bar there and the picnic tables you can sit at to enjoy your ice cream. Loved the shark jaw photo opp and .there was a nice young man who offered to take our photo ( he worked there)!”
